That race! I love it But honestly I know they do it always, but I don't like when they're showing the alone leader crossing the line than that epic battle

They do it for the edit/highlights. Later on in the year they might want to make a feature of the winning driver so they want a shot of them taking the glory at the chequered flag.
There's never gonna be a race where they ignored the winner crossing the line even if 5 cars are flipping and flaming behind, even in NASCAR if the big one happens at Daytona on the run to the line they show the line then use the replays to show what happened in the crash.
