Wow, that season flew by, didn't it? We're onto the last round of the season at the legendary Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit and it's pretty much guaranteed that Turkington will win the title... unless he does a Collard in race 1. Even though the outcome of the championship is a foregone conclusion, the event will still be worth watching as this track always produces cracking racing.

What happened with the calendar this year that they keep racing when the f1 is on? It can't be helping the viewing figures, and wouldn't do that much harm to wait until next weekend.

Anyway, unless Turkingtons car gets written off in race 1, can't see him losing this.

Dammit. I've an early Sunday morning flight to Atlanta and there's no way for me to catch up with the races until Wednesday. Damn my bad planning.

BTCC at Brands Hatch > F1 at a dull, soulless, Modern GP circuit. But, yeah, there is a lot on this weekend: F1, WEC, WRX, WTCC, Bathurst 1000 (which is an annoying clash) & NASCAR as usual.

I'll be there. First time at a GP meeting so looking forward to seeing the cars round the back of the track. Does mean I can't watch Bathurst though unfortunately, as I'll be far too knackered if I stay up all night.

No Tony Gilham, so the field will be down to 30.

The car's basically knackered.

I agree it seems they've dropped the ball on this...hope its fixed for next year.

Could be worse though. ...they could have the wtcc's schedule :whistling:

Anyone know of a non-ITV stream likely to show this weekend?

Just so you know, it's going to piss down at Brands on Sunday, Saturday should be clear though.

So it'll be a repeat of the 2001 and 2012 finales then?

LOL it was the BBC weather I was watching this morning that showed a big puddle over the South East on Sunday.

BBC Weather changes its 5 day forecast every few hours. I find it's only accurate one or two days in advance.

I disagree, their forecasts are rarely accurate even to just a few hours lol.

I tend to put rain today on as that's far more accurate for short term forecasts.

It will be raining at Brands in about 30-40 minutes (if it isn't already)
We have a monsoon here atm.
