Cowardly plato hides in the pits instead of starting on the grid like a man.

Its fun to hate :p

If it wasn't for that cheating scumbag Plato and TOCA's slavish love of him, this would be my favourite racing series ever. His ruling-body-sponsored antics to create a NASCAR style pantomime villain turns me off a bit.

Anyway, bad tempered last day of school, wasn't it? :P

Last race felt like they were just running out the clock at the last day at school rather than a full out balls to the wall end of season party.

But in the conditions you couldn't really blame them. ..not much was on the line.

A good season overall and the right guy won in the end. Can't complain really (apart from the 6 months of complaining I did about plato, obv ;) )

Just walked past Sheds at Stansted airport. Guess he's taking the 1150 to Edinburgh. Still looks grumpy but at least he wasn't wearing his silly massive cap.

Might be a little pain rather then grumpiness. The race 1 accident jarred his back and neck.

Finally caught up on the races, one of the better days on the Brands GP circuit I've seen, shame it didn't generate more discussion but guess everyone was tired from Bathurst and there was the F1 too. Can't say I agreed with Shedden blaming Gio for the race 1 crash, looked to me like Shedden moved over onto Gio. Did Gio get any penalty for the race 1 crash?

Glad to see Plato finally getting a real punishment, but for a driver of such experience he does make some very very stupid moves.

I'm glad someone else can see what actually happened. It was as clear as day, no need for a replay. Shedden's always been a stock car driver.

Quote:
Penalties

Race one:
Fabrizio Giovanardi was given an official reprimand and two points on his racing licence for an incident involving Gordon Shedden

Race Two:
Tom Ingram was given an official reprimand and two points on his racing licence for an incident involving Fabrizio Giovanardi

Jason Plato was given a ten-place grid penalty and three points on his racing licence for an incident involving Colin Turkington. The decision was appealed by West Surrey Racing, the stewards upheld the appeal and Plato was subsequently given a 20-second time penalty and as this was his third reprimand of the season had to start the following race from the back of the grid

Race three: Mat Jackson was given a verbal warning for an incident involving Aron Smith

Finally watching the races from Sunday and part way into race 1. After seeing the first corner incident, did Shedden watch a replay before making those idiotic comments to Louise Goodman? Did Shedden ignore the fact that he had an entire empty track on his left hand side and that squeezing Gio was totally unnecessary?

Another comment about race 1... Luke Hines, who not only sounds like he's special needs but also drove the same as well, taking out Chris Stockton and causing his own retirement against Marc Hynes.
