Not a lot of green flag laps, many accidents as always. Race finished under SC

And the crash which ended the race happened under double waved yellows. After that and the entirety of the Mugello event, all the drivers in this series need the book thrown at them.

The second race at Monza yesterday was a perfect example of what a touring car race should be like at that track.

TCR Italy is currently racing at Vallelunga, but their YT stream is not working.
Love that first fast section of this track, touring cars looks so good through it

Streams for this weekend:

TCR South America/Brasil - Velocitta. Bit of a weird format this weekend, Brasil is usually a sub-class of SA but is having two stand-alone races on Saturday as well as the usual combined races on Sunday. As far as I can tell, only one car is exclusively racing in Brasil & two exclusively in SA. Everybody else will be doing all-four races:
Brasil Race 1
Brasil Race 2
South America/Brasil Race 1
South America/Brasil Race 2

TCR Europe - Catalunya:

TCR UK - Brands Hatch:

This race was a farce BTW.
Wow really was, starting the race with 2nd place stalled on the grid with their door open, then sending out a recovery truck onto a live race track, then sending the SC out mid pack and it having to fight its way through the pack. Bad day in race control!

There's something about TCR & Velocitta.

Montenegro's car broke down, was towed off track and left on the hill in the above thumbnail. Later on in the race it rolled back down the hill and onto the track. :8: :slaphead:

I pretty much forgot that the World Tour's Australian swing was over the next two weekends. Not been that much hype for it. Doesn't help that the first race was on a Friday.

A red flag for absolutely no reason and they counted the order back one lap for the restart, even though the race continued from where it left off instead of being a full restart. :? :? :?

I hated that so much, they'd had about 10 cars run slightly wide so the entire field knew what the conditions were like and would likely pit, the red flag was not necessary at all and just shows how much race control doesn't want that whole dry/wet/dry phase of racing any more where the order can be drastically shaken up and an underdog ace the conditions to get a surprise result

It wasn't even torrential anyway, just sprinkling combined with low tyre pressures, if they'd all come in for inters or wets, they'd have been fine

Didn't even bother with race 2 or 3 as a result, if they're trying to mandate rain out of the championship, I CBA watching
