Looks like Ollie Jackson hit a tree.

And btcc crazy reports both Jackson and Belcher's crashes down to front left 'mechanical failures'. I suppose that could mean suspension but I guess tyres are the most likely reason.

Is he sure that was his doing and not Belcher's?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Damage doesn't look too bad for Belcher:

Roof isn't damaged at all so he must have corkscrewed over and landed back on his wheels.

From what I saw, it looked like Belcher's right front suspension was broken because his wheel was at an unusual angle as he went off.

And now I've seen Robb Collard was given a warning for his incident with Matt Neal in race 3. Sorry, but what?! Neal drove into Collard (small bump from the back) then steered across Collard sending them both off. How is that Collard's fault?

Would it not be for his start line tapping the rear of the Mercedes into a spin that wiped out Plato as he tried to recover? :?

I thought Collard turned into Neal. Maybe they could see that from their onboard.

Nope. That was a standard incident for first lap and bunching. The warning was for the Neal incident. Perhaps what I can't see is how or if Collard attempted to turn into the next corner, but Neal clearly tried to. I'm only going by the TV replays.

Was a bit of a return to "Classic Collard" mode wasn't it....

Surprise he didn't end up in the bushes tbh.

I wouldn't call Collard being used as a pinball by the Honda's 'Classic Collard'

Collard didn't lift and pushed Neil off once they'd touched, they probably took that into account, the initial contact entering the corner might have just been the planets alined properly, but you don't keep your foot in and literally push the other car off track unless you have some form of intent...

Suspension failure has been confirmed as the cause of Belcher's accident.

Yeah from the on board it sounded like Collard got back on the throttle after the contact. At least it was only a warning rather than the ban he got a few years back at Brands.

Yeah classic "you've fucked me so I'm gonna fuck you" racing driver mentality.

What annoys me is that Neal and Shedden took a good few chunks out of Collard during race 3. Admittedly Shedden's wasn't intentional but Neal's two hits were more his standard bump and pass than him trying to do anything clean. Then what to BTCC do? They warn Collard for reacting to some pathetic standard Neal driving. I'm not justifying Collard's behaviour rather just saying it is a somewhat understandable reaction.

It's akin to being at school and the teachers let the known bully go unpunished but instead the victim gets sent to the head masters off for getting fed up and snapping.
