They tried that with "car of the future" in 2013 didn't they? And it worked, plenty of new winners since then.

Triple 8 and Whincup are just simply doing the best job, and they deserve all the success they are getting. Up to the others to chase them and knock them over, just as sport should be.

Try NASCAR. They have a new format you might like.

2 rolls, a very near roll and an airbourne, the Aussie Racing cars had a good race :P

Feels like Goody's Dash during speedweeks or something, small light cars on a fast track that doesn't take much to get them to turn over.

So for those that don't know, Tander resisted the attentions of MCLaughlin for lap after lap, only to run out coming to the line, NASCAR style.

LOL @ the Holden guys climbing the fence to celebrate then Massa family style having their hearts broken!

Amazing set of races this weekend.... :metal:

Roger Penske pretty much all but confirms Ford withdrawing their support for the series

Quote:
AMERICAN MOTORSPORT mogul Roger Penske has confirmed that Ford is pulling out of V8 Supercars.

In a world exclusive interview, Penske revealed to AA that he is sticking with Ford for his entry into V8s next year out of loyalty despite Broadmeadows’ decision to withdraw.

“We felt that next year, even though Ford is not supporting the series going forward, it was the right thing for us to do to carry the Ford logo,” he told Auto Action during a flying visit last week.

Now they've closed a loophole that Rick Kelly amongst others were going to use to take part in both the test and the Bathurst 12 hours

I thought Dahlgren would eventually 'get it' and run upper midpack atleast, like Premat did but no.

Also, Super Black will be running full time next year, with Heimgartner driving. And Ash Walsh has been confirmed to replace Lee Holdsworth at Erebus.
