From what I can tell, there's going to be an additional engine types and two-door cars allowed, alongside the V8s. This could be interesting.

Well with Ford ending manufacturing of the Falcon and Holden ending manufacturing of the Commodore a lot of signs point to any future involvement by these companies coming in the form of the Camaro and Mustang which of course means allowing 2 door cars

Good tast race, look like the Volvo is all horsepower with no refinement while the Red Bulls are all handling (lol, t'was ever thus wherever they race)

Surprised they didn't re-run the part where they ran side by side down to turn 4 though.... 8O

Good tast race, 9/10

Sadly we kept cutting away from the close racing to the red bulls, but that's inevitable considering the title being won and all.

Congrats to Team Red Bull on the title then, but beware. There's a storm coming Mr Wincup. A serious front is returning from the US very soon to make your lives a hell of a lot harder ;)

And the race has just finished in time for the start of the F3. Beautiful timing! :)

Oh for the days when more than 2 teams battled it out for the podium and the championship being decided at the final round wasn't wishful thinking... Whincup isn't the key factor IMO, it's Triple 8. It would be good if some effort by the rule makers was put into shaking up the status quo that's gone unchanged for 4 years now.

It hasn't even been 4 years, it's been more like 7 years, if not back 8 years.

they having something in their setups that no-one else has - it seems that anyone that gets in those cars will win

yep, 2 points in 2007 and one change of tyres in 2010 and it would have been 8 in a row
