I know he's a pay driver, but at least he's had success at this level. There are worse drivers they could have chosen.

Never been a fan of Hines, not sure why as he's a fairly decent driver. Perhaps it's because he looks and sounds like he can't count to 10 without lots of pausing and missing out a few numbers.

Interesting conversations last night... i went to watch some stock cars and had a chance meeting with someone i know who is involved in BTCC... heres some of what was discussed.

Plato to WSR replacing Foster in the BMW.

Ingram to MG replacing Plato.

But, let us not forget, the BTCC rules regarding Rear wheel drive cars, and the BMW's in particular, are a JOKE and need to be changed IMMEDIATELY

I'd love it if Gow did something about the rear wheel drive cars based on Plato's whining, just as Plato negotiates himself into a BMW seat...

Also, how about dem Stock cars Marv, was there a flip in every race or what?

I'd be more concerned about Turkington and Plato fighting each other, especially as Plato won't have the number one status he had at MG.

One wonders whether Plato's moaning about BMW's supposed advantages over FWD has meant Gow is the one trying to get Plato into a BMW to keep 'Mr BTCC Popularity' and his legions of fans happy.

Agreed although I'd be conflicted about that as Turkington and WSR don't deserve to be penalized for doing such a good job. Same for Dynamics and Honda these past 3-4 years.

Seems to have been, but to be honest after Craig won the World Final i ended up "round at his" for the rest of the night... hes a great bloke and the title is very much deserved.. and his old man was a hero of mine when i was younger
