I really enjoyed those races today. One thing that was very noticeable was how good David Addison was. He is an old school commentator who doesn't resort to over-hamming his excitement in an attempt to come across as good.

Overall, a pretty average day of racing and the weather wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be. A really vicious hit for Rob Austin, I haven't seen that much damage on a touring car for quite a while.

Racing quality ranking:
1. Juniors (that time at Druids with about 7 cars in a space only big enough for 3 :8: )
2. BTCC
3. Clios
4. Porsches
5. Ginetta Supercup

6. FFord

Those of you who were saying about ITV thinking BTCC fans are alcoholics, well they're not far off. There was one guy near me who was as pissed as a fart for most of the afternoon, never seen that at an event before :o .

Also, the Carrera Cup truck broke down just before getting on the M25  .

This sounds about right, although I might swap over Juniors and BTCC purely because Woodhead absolutely raped the field. FFord was dire, quite disappointed about that. And yeah I wasn't as cold as I thought I'd be, although I was wearing an absolute fuckton of layers!

Also - my mate found a cable tie in the chicken noodles he got from one of the vans

Ha. Definitely an original idea...

Bit over the top for the BTCC though, don't you think?

I'd like to thank Alan Gow for introducing the NGTC regulations, which gave us BTCC fans a new folk hero in Rob Austin. I didn't like the guy when he raced in F3. Now I think he's awesome.

Shame he drives an Audi though.

Nothing wrong with his particularly, I'm just not a fan of Audi in general.
