Chris James has another Meltdown on Twitter this evening. Picked a fight with Jason Plato.

Looking at some of the reactions, I'm just thankful my company has an image filter in place which blocks certain images when I'm browsing the web.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I also notice that there are to be no mixtures of tyres next year. You must only go with slicks or wets.

I assume they keep it to teams so MG can rely on Neate's shittiness to keep Plato fast.

Don't see how that can work now each driver will be assessed independently. Hopefully it'll mean MG don't feel Neate's money is worth all the crash damage and ship him out now his slowness doesn't mean extra speed for Plato

Not that happy about it, but don't know why Autosport are continuing their Anti-BTCC agenda atm with their opinion piece in the news article.
"Autosport says: Fucking hell this is shit, what the fuck is going on here, load of crap it is" etc

They've never put an "Autosport Says" in a news piece before so to do it now is a bit odd, especially when they just want to get across the same point that they're not in favour of the boost rules in exactly the same way that they have for months.
And yeah, if I want racing purity (or as close as possible) I'll watch F1, or watch 6 hours of nothing happening but unreliability at Silverstone in Sportscars or something, I don't turn to the BTCC for anything but entertainment, good racing, panto villans to boo and the occasional contentious crash. Big whoop Autosport, wanna fight about it?

Oh well, I like the idea of the random soft tyre rule, it's not like the BTCC needed any more spicing up but that will certainly help :)

I'm going by where it says by individual driver or team. They can still do it by team, they'll use that to help Plato >.<

It is and it isn't. 6 place penalty isn't enough. But it is a step in the right direction to punish dubious driving.

Relies in the stewards actually giving out warnings at the right time. The only serious repeat offender is Plato and he's never penalised.
