The Porsche RS Spyder had a demo run with Bleekemolen at the wheel today as well, only managed a 2:08 time but taking it easy of course, still cool!

Got one car in the shootout tomorrow as well which is exciting, though being Bathurst I guess it only helps so much. Also is it weirdly warm here, 8:30pm and still in a tshirt, great!

Going by the first post, it starts at 23:30 GMT Saturday night. Which is 00:30 BST Sunday morning, or 01:30 CET.

It isn't even the 50th race at Bathurst, its the 52nd since 1963

Hence why V8Supercars are using the term "50 years of Bathurst" as opposed to the "50th running)

This LEGEND on Youtube is uploading all the support races which is fantastic for someone like me who wants to see every bit of action at this amazing track while still having some form of a life in the daylight hours!

You're actually correct there, because of the Super Touring events. And technically if you want to count the Phillip Island races, then that would make 55 editions of what we now know as the Bathurst 1000.

I see something in my TV guide about an "Australian V8 Supercars" broadcast on Saturday night at 7pm, set to finish at 2am

Apparently that Formula ford driver broke a leg and arm in that accident

I'm assuming it's only for the Canadian feed, because I got nothing like that on SPEED's website or on my channel guide.

The TCM race was great as was the end of the Dunlop Series race. That crash at the end of the Dunlop Series race was quite heavy as well.

Yeah, it was. Lucky there wasn't an enormous first lap pileup in the TCM race when the Camaro or whatever it was got forced onto the dirt as they went three wide up the hill and were beating and banging, and nearly lost it.

Yeah that would have been fucken huuuuge if he lost it there
