Rockingham isn't the best for BTCC, but the forecast for Sunday is heavy rain showers and we all remember what happened a few years back!

I have my weekend ticket (plus one for a friend of mine) and all being well, there will be a mass Facebook Group meet up.

Annoying that they decided to go up against Singapore GP, particularly as there wasn't much on last weekend so would've been a much better slot for this race.

Ho Hum, a test for the recording devices for me, with F1 and BTCC running at the same time and WTCC to come later in the evening...

Think ITV4 was showing the Tour of Britain cycling last Sunday, so BTCC would have ended up on the website again. Not great for the BTCC as if cycling's popularity continues, these clashes will only become more frequent.

At least F1 will be available in iPlayer, so makes recording choices a bit easier...

They only showed a quarter of the ToB live (about 65% of Sunday's final route was missed out), and it wasn't technically "live" either.
It would have been an hour and a half at the most lost to the cycling.

That's two meetings in a row now. Time to be suspicious?

Not that I am aware of. He is still contributing significantly to Motorbase.

That's what I was thinking, considering his company is a significant sponsor for Motorbase.

Griffin is no real loss, imo.

That was the only reason I could think of for the 3 week gap from Knockhill, otherwise not racing last weekend makes no sense at all. Anyone got any other ideas why there's been a 3 week gap?

Goodwood revival? A few of the drivers compete in that.

As a driver I agree, but as a major sponsor and therefore contributor to the development of the Foci' which then enables Mat Jackson to compete at the front, I disagree ;)

He will be back for the last rounds though so that's something at least.

Neal will definitely be racing despite his injuries.
