Yep Twitter is ablaze with people RT'ing tweets from the track saying "rain"

No wonder we get so disappointed when rain doesn't appear

Looks light on TV though...

Nope BTCC normal time, no Ginetta GT's... fuck you ITV.

I miss Motors TV's all day coverage :(

Without the red flag the rain would be falling halfway through the Ginetta race....shame.

Back to 17:10, as advertised.

The ginetta race is lost to track clean up, will probably run just after the finish of ITV's broadcast :(

That'll annoy the casual fans that went away when Steve Rider said "Touring Cars will be on at Ten Past 5" lol

Good. Part time fans are the reason national and club racing struggles.

You can't blame the for BTCC being popular!

Club racing is mainly run off the pockets of those involved anyway, does it matter if no-one shows up really?

For the most part, yeah, though the circuits (some more than others) could use the income. I just dislike people who only watch F1 and/or the BTCC on TV and never visit the track which is 2 miles down the road. Lots more to racing. :p

Yeah but on BTCC off weekends ITV4 shows DTM so you can't blame them for being put off really...
"Oh, this BTCC is good, lets see some other motorsport..."
"Well, that was shit, not gonna bother looking elsewhere if its all as shit as that!"

IT IS ALL THE DTM'S FAULT.

(Or they get put off by Plato, either way I can blame my 2 usual topics of hate...)

(I'll try and find a way to crowbar in Tony George for some blame too if you want...Hat trick!)

I'm 45 minutes from Thruxton, 80 from Silverstone and 90 from Brands Hatch. Done 2 of the 3 this year :p

It's a shame there's not a circuit nearer :p

It's a shame I can't drive (or none of the tracks are accessible if you don't drive) otherwise I'd have less time to waffle on here and more time to post tapatalk updates from actual racetracks with actual content to share.

I've tried my hardest to talk about the Birmingham Superprix to the MP's I occasionally meet to get them to bring it back, but only one cared and he was an ex racing driver

I've also tried battering down the cyber-door of Inca race to get a link up between them and my radio station's sport show but they won't even reply...*frustration*

I can drive, but I'm saving the money for F1 2013 mega!

Smith fined and penalty points. 888 appealing!

Ever since Plato joined them, 888 has become a truly disgusting team.

So if you copy what Plato does you'll....

Oh whatever, I can't be arsed any more, we all know the status Quo, Plato's a twat but he has the series on his side so fuck it, he can go fuck himself and I'm tempted to never mention him ever again, but then I'd get a lacerated ulcer from suppressing my rage so much....

JP helps launch a racing academy for young drivers and yet he wants to get a young driver banned. The mind baffles.

The thought that young drivers look up to him is even more worrying.
