It makes me wonder what Massa's punishment was for doing one at the end of the Brazil race last year in F1.... :?

(aside from his entire 2012 season so far, of course!)

I dare think what his punishment was for his 2002 season, which was just one big long donut.

Word afterwards was that the BARC (who run the touring car meetings) were pretty annoyed about it bringing down the tone of the meeting or something.

I'm assuming because this may have drawn attention away from the Plato v Neal grudge match show?

This image is on the BTCC.net site and is from the Brands Hatch weekend. Does anybody know anything about the incident? I'm struggling to even tell which corner it is.

I was thinking that too. I thought it was Druids.

It was Druids. Neate spun out Gilham. Think it was race 2?

Thanks Schumifan. The angle makes it looks almost like the Melbourne Hairpin at Donington Park.

Another ridiculous incident for Neate, then, if he's managed to turn a car all the way around at a corner as slow as that. Need I mention he also spun off twice by himself, almost hit the back of the safety car and was struggling to keep up with Chris James at one point?

I wonder how much he bribed the MSA for his license? A retarded chimp could do a better job.

Well, Thorne did manage to spin under SC, and before the race begun. That's spectacularly bad, no matter who he's being compared to.

Which might be more of a case of sorting the car out and making the car less tail happy. Plato got on just fine with the MG, other then hitting other people, so what's Neate's excuse?

What is Thorne's prior experiance anyway?

CSL Cup and Britcar mainly. Never raced front wheel drive before.

What was Neate like before his accident at Silverstone a few years back? Any better?

Are you referring to his driving or his general attitude?

I remember seeing him win races in some lower level series before. Might have been a Ford Fiesta, but my memory is hazy, and I've no idea how amateurish the competition was. :p

Finally caught up with the races after being away on holiday. Seems like I missed out! I briefly caught race one at the time, and got very shouty at the TV when Plato was being Plato.
