This is actually one of the best pieces of news all season, because ITV usually use the final meeting to trial what they're intending to do. I'm guessing they'll be taking a good long look at the popularity vs expenditure of Saturday filming and streaming

Now, finally, we're going to see every race that takes place at a BTCC meeting. That only happened once before I think, Thruxton 2004 when Gow tried to compress all the racing onto the Sunday for TV purposes. Sadly the Clio drivers rebelled saying they didn't have enough time to repair their cars (typical Clio drivers, it didn't cross their mind to stop crashing! )
so back to Sat they went for the next round....

Thought I would try and drum up a debate with a week to go till the last rounds.

This will be the first time we see the NGTC car as well. What are people's thoughts about it? Are they looking forward to it? Do you think there will be any NGTC cars on the grid next year and if so what cars do you reckon?

On another matter, do you want a completely new topic started for 2011, or shall we keep this one going, but spoiler 2010 and add the 2011 stuff?

James Kaye has said that he and Barwell want to build one. If they do it will probably be a Honda Accord.

At least with the TV cameras being there on the sat we'll hopefully get a good look at it...

I'll make my decision about it then I guess...

1 week and it'll all be over. Unbelievable how quickly the season has gone. Suzuka F1 & Brands Hatch BTCC in one day, does life get any better than that? The addition of Collins & Tordoff makes 23 entries? I'm a bit surprised Chevvy haven't added another driver to their line up or the same with Team Aon.

Bathurst?

Only thing that would make the weekend more epic would be Dega to round up Sun night....

Can you imagine that? F1 qualifying Saturday morning, BTCC qualifying/supports streamed live on Saturday, Trucks at DEGA Saturday night, Bathurst overnight, F1 Sunday morning, BTCC all day then DEGA in the evening.

This needs to happen.

Couple of years ago we had the Ring 24, Monaco GP, Coca Cola 600 and Indy 500 all on the same day. That was enough for me thanks.

Coca Cola Monapolisring 24.

It did last year, if you swap out Bathurst for the IRL.

On the weekend of April 25th\26th, there was F1 at Bahrain, BTCC at Thruxton, IndyCar at Kansas and NASCAR at Talladega.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Doesn't look like we'll be seeing Onslow-Cole in the BTCC for much longer:

Wouldn't blame him for walking away from Team Aon though.

So he wants to do V8 Supercars? And any move is dependent on him finding a drive? Well, with everything that's rumored (yes I know) he is probably going to stay.

I think that was kind of expected. Well, that's at least one car confirmed for next year. I'll start the 2011 BTCC RDT probably on Monday.

Also, looks like the STCC will be using NGTC rules.
