Wat.

Only 0.4 from pole as well, on a long track. Did he cut like a whole section?

Equal time as Chilton too. No mention of cutting, he really did do a good time.

Platard and Chevy moan their way to pole.

Oh well, Shedden will get him tomorrow.

Austin 14th, Byford 19th and Welch in 20th, only 2.2 off the pace. That's really good.

BTCC Morality lessons, number one:

Being a moaning, bitching, ungrateful son of a bitch gets you what you want in the end.

Learn from this, kids!

Ideal race tomorrow would be if Plato went off into the crops, right under the Yaytree.

Was a fairly eventful day at Snetterton. I'm not massively keen on the 300 circuit from a spectators point of view, although there are a couple of new elevated banks that allow you to see quite a lot of track.

First off, I thought the Proton looked like a really nice car!

Secondly, I love the changes to the final corner. The drivers have all criticised it, but they have to brake heavily from high speed whilst still turing out of Coram corner. The amount of cars getting sideways was incredible.

Newsham drifted through it.

Alas, he didn't save it.

The Clios had similar problems.

In preparation for their usual first lap performance...

The run off area at Montreal is old skool grass and trees! Yay tree looks rather small and tame from here.

I bumped into some drivers in the pitlane. Annoyingly, this one came across as friendly and happy to give some time to the fans. :p

As for the sexiest photo of the day award, no competition...

That's not actually Jason, it's a cardboard cutout.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

She is 'chunkier' compared to the other drivers in that photo isn't she?

First lap was very chaotic. The rest of the race was close but there wasn't much passing. Probably saving their cars for some carnage tomorrow.

No, that never happens. Saturday races are always more exciting than Sundays! :p

How were the other races?

There were 2 Ginetta GT races, which were also very average. The Montreal hairpin does seem to encourage first lap carnage though! And I think a few more went off at the esses.

I hope you're wrong, or else it could be quite a dull day tomorrow. :p
