Good result in one race at least! Neate though - that rejoin is the kind of move you get banned for.

It wouldn't be a BTCC weekend if Neate didn't do something stupid. :p

Quite right! :D What a nice man he sounds.

Looking forward to Silverstone - kind of!

It also wouldn't be a BTCC weeked if Plato didn't moan about turbos after a good result! :flag:

I honestly believe PON was on the level of the Hondas without that driveshaft issue.

I think he could've gotten up to them if he had passed Chilton and Neate.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Favourite moment of the day had to be that pigeon getting kablammo'd. Commentary to go with it was priceless too.

You shouldn't laugh but the commentary just makes it funny.

I don't think they did. Must just be the way he's edited the clip. I'm sure we saw the cars come round on the next lap and finish the poor thing off!

So today can be summed up thus: Plato, Pigeons and Powell.

I'm pretty sure that Pigeon was already dead anyway, why else would it just sit there and be hit?

Also:

Summing up:

Race 1 was just depressing watching Plato benefit from his whining while the Hondas punctured. (and when drama stopped happening, was a bit boring overall)
Race 2 was more like it and race 3 was just crazy at the start and involved someone rejoining doing a burnout takedown on a couple of other cars...funny.

Jrs were just mental though, so many harsh accidents in the early laps (Y U NO REPLAY THEM ITV?)
Clios were good too. though I missed the reason for the SafetyCar...anything big?

No, the SC just came out for them to recover a car that had swiped the barriers.

The pigeon just decided he was going to commit suicide.

I can't wait for this season to be over. Whatever the final result there will be a sense of real disatisfaction. There have been some good races this season but overall the way the championship and "equalisation" rules has been handled has been very poor. To see Plato winning now would be a travesty.

Plato's done nothing to earn the title. He's just bitched and moaned until everything's in his favour. The Chevy's are basically hand me downs as someone alluded to earlier while Honda have been working very hard on their car and engine.
