There was parity. Plato won more races than anyone else, but was tactically retarded. He didn't go for points when he should have done, he went for all or nothing and it cost him the crown. He finished what, 20 points behind Neal? Let Boardman go at Knockhill, don't go so aggressive at the set-up at Donington and Thruxton and there's easily 20 points in there.

The turbos were quick down the straights, but that was coupled with increased tyre wear and not as good cornering speed - hence Plato was good at Brands Indy, Rockingham etc.

He was fastest at Brands with maximum ballast. And it's still not fair.

So who'll be back next year? Plato very bitter in his interview and he feels he lost it through the turbos and not his own tactical inpetness.

Hopefully, (jinxed now), we'll see 32 cars out there. I doubt many of the 30 this weekend won't come back as they have multi-year plans. I do hope Plato comes back, even if he is a twat. He gives some more stardom to the series and always a talking point!

Plato is good for the popularity of the series, and to give us someone to boo.

My concern would be losing O'Neill. Some of the small teams struggle for budget also. James, Wood...

Hey, shame Gaara didn't agree to my bet on the first page. :D

You need a villain to boo and that's Plato. The only reason BTCC 'needs' him.

A satisfying end to a great season, you have to say the right man won the championship, anything else would've been a manipulated result.

Also can we get some better support race series please? Renaults are rubbish so I'm not looking forward to them doubling the amount of series next year (they weren't clear if this new Renault Jr category is going to be on the TOCA package or not though) Porches I didn't bother with, the shower was more appealing but it seems with racing as exciting as the BTCC usually is it is a shame the supports were so lacklustre they don't keep the average viewers excitement.

WIN-etta Jr excepted of course.

It says a lot on a track that is basically two long straights and a couple of corners the supports could be so shit. What is wrong with these championships aside from the huge amount of money they bribe ITV with that keeps us from enjoying something more exciting?

Still, BTCC 2011 came up trumps like it always does, sorry I missed it with you lot but I'm sure it'll be just as fun next year!

Also, ITV, stop apologising when someone says something so mild as "bloody" or "arse", this isn't Cbeebies!

And your Advert Breaks are always of the same length, so saying "back after this short break" is completely annoying and almost lying. Stop that.

AND it seems the Meerkat has stopped working for compare the meerkat .com and is now working for those similarly named people who used to annoy him so much...WHATS THAT ABOUT?

Feel better now? :p

As far as I understand it, the Renault Juniors were going to be cars that were a year old, or maybe older than that. And they'd be on the same grid as Formula Renault. (much like the G55's and G50's in the Ginetta GT races). I could be completely wrong.

Yeaa they'll be in the same race because they were warned over their low grid size.
