Yeah but everything else in that statement is pretty good, they've seen how poor the series has been this year and have had a chat with the teams about how to lower costs and hopefully increase the car count next year.

The Clio Eurocup sounds cool, hope they pick a decent track for it though (Monza! Lol)

That BTCC Car is the new car? Really? It looks like the current cars. I was expecting something sorta..different. If they chose a car that is already running this year then it'd be the same as now with some bonnet vents. :-\

Pinkney looking at 2011 options

Andrew Dean, Pinkney Motorsport Team Manager wrote:
“We want to thank Ross, Chris and all the boys for the work they have done during the season, and also thank our sponsors and fans for the support we have had throughout the year.

“Now we will evaluate the best way forwards for both David and the Pinkney Motorsport team during the winter before we make an announcement on our plans for 2011, but there are some very interesting options which we need to explore.”

The NGTC looks awesome. I can't wait for a few of them to be on the grid.

Is he man enough for BTCC? After he opted out of the final race yesterday I'm unsure whether he can cut it in the rough and tumble of touring cars.

He absolutely has to race a car that's 100% pink before he retires, so hopefully that will be one of the options :p .

It's not like he's the only driver ever to have done that. Ben Winrow missed the last 2 Clio races in 2008, as did Dave Newsham this year.

Newsham went and did G50's instead.

Ingram still managed to race.

Pinkney does need to race an all pink car, but my favourite Pinkney livery is actually his most simple...

From 1993

Talking of racing an all pink car, what happened to James Kaye's plans for repainting his Integra for last weekend?

According to Autosport, Neal and Shedden are all but confirmed to be back at Honda next year. Steve Neal has said that there is no reason to change the line-up.

Thats good news. It didn't say anything about the possibility of a 3rd car though.

it should be good to see how the Civic goes with the NGTC engine next year as it will put a bit more weight over the front end, tho hope it dosnt give the same tyre wear probs that Pinkny and Jordan suffered this year.
