I don't think it is too much of a stretch to assume a motor racing magazine would be watching some motor racing, no.

The real question is why will you be there, and also will you dare show them a crazy TBK BTCC thread during your time there :p

Andy Shuttleworth and Rob Hedley were planning to enter this year with two 888 Vectra's.

And now we know where the cars have gone.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Which is exactly my point. RML has been one of the most popular teams over the last 15-20 years. Plato's (and MacDowell's) behaviour doesn't reflect that of the team. If you ever have any thoughts of hatred towards RML just think of this and those thoughts will quickly disappear...

Airwaves/Motorbase whatever you call them is aiming to get 3 Focuses out this year. Keen to retain Jackson, Griffin and possibly Caine.

The BTCC Facebook page has a MG gallery up.

Forgive my ignorance but has Plato ever raced an MG before?

If you read the release though it's just a mockup. Not official. Even then though, still an awful looking design.

On another note, I miss the MG's that looked like BMW's.

Now there's a surprise. Time for Neate to step up a bit.

Mock image says Plato's car is #99, which I thought was Ollie Jackson's...

Where does this leave RML? And Nash? :(

As ugly as that looks I am happy to see MG back in the championship as I was quite a fan of theirs before.

Even with Plato as their driver I'm happy to see them back too :p

Divided loyalties lol

So would this be the first Chinese manufacturer in the BTCC?

I hope their parts department is in good nick, they're going to need it.

Great news that we have MG in the series. And I quite like the look of the cars too.

I want to see your reaction when MG and Plato win

I like the MG, but it does remind me of a VW Jetta

I imagine its going to be a bit like when he first came back with SEAT, a few isolated wins here and there but not really ready for a full title campaign until next year.

Fortunately he can't milk the reverse grid rules to his advantage this time! :p
