Wonder if he'll be any less shit than their last import?

He's a way better touring car driver than Premat. But I think he's a bit too old to get in a whole new disciplin like this. If I were Polestar I would chose either Thed Björk (dominated STCC this year) or Linus Ohlsson who is very promising and is absolutely the real deal.

Premat was doing pretty bloody well at the start of this year

Maybe GRM might be pushed into having 3 cars? With the extra Volvo money they possibly could.

There are a few RECs seemingly being shopped around at the moment, so if they wanted a third car they could certainly do a deal though.

The problem with any third car though is that they extra car has to share a boom in the pits with another teams car... Erebus suffered from these arrangements at Sandown when the 'other' team (BJR #21 mechanics) was not ready to fill the Merc up at the pitstop

AutoAction are reporting that FPR have recalled Chas Mostert to drive for them next year as they're likely to lose Will Davison. That screws DJR pretty badly as they were relying on retaining Mostert to win sponsorship for next year.

He was talking to Erebus. But Ford having announced their continued support of FPR will probably get Davison to stay, so hopefully DJR retains Mostert and all's good.

Race 30 is live at 5.15am tonight on Premier Sports if you have a subscription!

And race 31 is delayed on the same channel on Sunday night!

Thumbs up from me.

It's a shit minority channel that needs to go away and give all its motorsports (including speedway and Stock car racing) to Motors TV

And I say that knowing someone who works for them now. :p

I think both races will have been shown on Motors TV by the time race 2 is on Premier too.

Wasn't impressed that there were adverts during the TROOKS on Premier Sports.

I'm paying for this, why are there adverts during ANY live event?

Well that's a fuckin retarded move by Davison. Move from a frontrunning team with short term factory backing to a back marker with no factory backing? Huh.

After his bonehead move on his brother today im sure FPR will be glad to see the back of him. Today's race was beyond retarted.

It seems that Ford re-signed with FPR for next year for less $$, meaning Will Davison was likely required to take a paycut if he wanted to stay in the #6.... perhaps Erebus were willing to continue to pay his current salary, plus the cars have been improving steadily all year.
