Was interested to hear Neil Crompton say that the Clipsal coverage was going to be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this year, and had a look at the V8 website and there is decent Friday coverage for the first time.

It's going to be good when they get a full grid of cars! I'm looking forward to the enduro at the end of the season which is one week after the gold coast race so they are gona try and get a load of the internationals racing, Scott Dixon, Dario Franchtti, Mark Winterbottom etc. are all names that have been mentioned

How long will it last?

Auto Action today reports that NZV8 organisers are taking the V8SuperTourer directors to court, seemingly primarily to do with who owns the IP of the chassis design.

NZV8's is a dying series, there are about 12 cars competing in it this season, it's absolutely pathetic, all the top drivers have moved over to the V8SuperTourers and that is where the future of touring cars in NZ is, this court action appears to be one final effort by the NZV8 organisers to show themselves to be complete pricks, NZ isn't big enough for there to be this much in fighting, but I'm not too fussed either way, I much prefer watching the Toyota Racing Series!

Kinda like in Sweden then, where STCC is dying. Sportmanship must prevail, or the sport dies completely.

yea pretty much, there will be probably no cars in NZV8's next season so they're a sinking ship, I guess they're in shock from being the No1 series last year to suddenly being on the verge of collapse, what doesn't help is all their friends in Motorsports NZ are being awkward to the Supertourers, but at the end of the day it's the spectators that will have the final say

Better, but WTF does lime green and tribal watermarks have to do with Pepsi Max? Considering the colours of the actual product they could come up with something much better looking and more relevant to the brand.

Easily the quickest car in the field until the rain hit, despite a few problems.

Simonsen was clearly the quickest man on the track, especially during his fightback after the first electrical gremlins hit the car.

Best regular race of the season almost here! Super excited for it, always a cracker to watch them around Radelaide.

That Altima looks dreadful as well. At least the team I dislike the most is running them.
