Brands Hatch was the worst - Tim Harvey kept prattling on about how Clearways is Neal's favourite overtaking spot and how he's the best at overtaking through there etc. etc.... but every time he overtook someone there he just drove into the side of them.

Well they gave him the gap and he takes it. Just because the others are too chicken to do the same, it isn't DTM you won't get a D/T for even the slightest touch...
