In addition, both Collard and Vauxhall have had 3 points put on their license.

Andrew surely?

Mike was around in the pits wasn't he - maybe he felt aggrieved about Collard's move on Andrew Jordan?

He isn't a BTCC driver anymore though, so surely they can't fine him?

Anyway, Collard said that he had a run-in with Andrew after the race, didn't mention Mike.

But he does still have a racing license and as the championship is an MSA run series, he can still be fined, and it was Mike that was fined.

Someone who knows Mark Proctor on the BTCC forum says his accident has ended his racing career....

So although he might make a full recovery from this accident I assume he cannot risk another such impact again so is not allowed to race any more.

I expect Mike, one for speaking his mind, was involved, rather than Andrew

Terrible news for him. I was surprised to read in Autosport that he'd broken his back, especially as the TV coverage only mentioned he had neck pains last weekend. Though I'm sure when I skim-read Autosport in the shops they were saying he could return later in the year.

From what was written it appeared to me that he'd taken the decision to retire himself from racing. He's in a bodycast at home.
