I hear RML do get a lot of prize money for their WTCC efforts.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Btw, the noise from the crowd at some points in that race was awesome. First time I've heard that in a BTCC race.

Yeah. Tim Harvey said it was the biggest crowd he's ever seen.

BRING ON 2010!!

Tim Harvey made me LOL at his criticism of Vauxhall's tactics. He seems to have forgotten how he won the 1992 title...

Great races, great season, great champion

What a finale  3 great races, BTCC was prbably the best championship this year. Most action packed races with a close championship down to the wire. Can't wait for next season.

Yeah, same. I thought 2006 was good but this was better. Get a few more cars in and maybe take Thompson back and keep Giovanardi  And try and see if ITV can improve a bit (please keep the coverage though, to have nearly 7 hours of BTCC is pretty fantastic)

Of course, how could I forget! I'd be interested to hear John Cleland's reponse to Tim Harvey's team tactics complaints.

I watched the final race live, and it really kept me on the edge of my seat! Absolutely amazing stuff! Such a contrast to the Japanese "Grand Prix" this morning, more like the Japanese "Procession Prix".

Massive congrats to Turkington, a deserving champion. Plato drove really well this weekend. Despite his critics, he drove superbly today to get three wins!

Awesome meeting, the BTCC put on three unbelievable races. Fantastic racing, and a great winner.

The crowd was massive today, and as for the noise, I was certainly contributing to that when Turkington took the lead in race 3!

Only bad thing - the support races sucked. There was an excellent Ginetta Junior race on Saturday and a decent one on Sunday, but everything else was rubbish. At least from where I was watching anyway.

Incidentally, I managed to fall asleep on the Porsche Race 2 warm-up lap. Woke up only to be disappointed to hear there were nine laps remaining.

Thankfully the BTCC more than made up for that though. :)

Did ITV not show it then? There was a couple of minor collisions and spins, otherwise very processional.
