They're milking that Harvey Porsche incident a bit...

Go away, you're the worst of the support races but ITV thinks you're the best because the car is more expensive than others that race on the BTCC bill.

Like I give a shit, I'd rather watch a clio race any day.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

God, it was cold today.

Some stuff that hasn't been mentioned here:

- Alex Austin, Paul Sheard & Ryan Singleton all spun off on the out laps of their respective races. Sheard went as far as getting stuck in the gravel.

- On the dummy grid for the 2nd BTCC race, about half the field lined up one row too far forward and had to be pushed back.

- Tom Onslow-Cole's left-rear wheel fell off on his out lap for the 3rd BTCC race. The doctor was kind enough to pick it up, stick it in the boot and return it to him on the grid, much to the amusement of the crowd  .

- Rob Collard spun on the out lap for the 3rd BTCC race and did a pretty nice burnout.

The atmosphere was phenomenal. The whole crowd cheered whenever Plato or Jackson passed anyone, and also every time Matt Neal spun off  .

Oh, and Reid's been punished:

The commentators mentioned TOC losing his wheel, dunno why they didn't show it.

Guess the onboards and what the marshal's saw must have decided if Reid was in the wrong, TV coverage didn't catch what happened. Pretty harsh if Plato gets nothing for punting Herbert out the way.

But it's Plato, he's allowed to get away with it...

Reid also blamed TOC for the incident like he did with the incident they showed with Neal.

Guessing you sat near me. We were at Luffield B Grandstand. That Big screen there was quite handy.
The amount of people spinning on the way to the grid was hilarious!

And yes.... rather cold!

They have started showing all the BTCC races on tv here (not live though) but it's been a LONG time since I saw the BTCC. Must admit the racing is awesome, these things just look like a laugh to drive and can be chucked around with no worries (specially the FWD cars). Seems there are few rules though, you can take people out and not worry about getting a penalty or anything but it makes the racing more exciting.

It winds me up just how inconsistant the stewards can be. I don't know how Nash can be excluded from Snetterton, whilst no penalty at all for Plato's punt on Herbert. Grrrrrr. :x
