Jackson wins, another lap and Neal would have had him.

Neal and Plato tied on points with 67, Neal leads by virtue of more race wins.
Despite only doing 1/3 of the races, Giovanardi still has more than half of the leader's points

Yes, they have.

Priaulx in 06
Jorg in 07
Farfus in 09

Great entertaining races today, shame for Chilton in race 2. A tie in points. Sadly now a month to wait for Oulton Park :(

Its like how excited we feel when the Clios are about to start, only out of the house and with other people around. ;)

Both Sunshine cars couldn't take the start as they had mechanical problems apparantly. Damn shame that, O'Neill could have been leading the championship right now.

That wouldn't matter though, as BTC spec cars aren't allowed to win the championship.

That could be an interesting scenario at the end of the year.

'After the final race, Paul O'Neill leads the championship with 200-and-something points, but the title will be awarded to the runner-up, Matt Neal.'

Might be a bit difficult to justify to the fan at home. I don't believe Gow ever foresaw a BTC-spec car performing this well in the championship.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

No, I don't think anyone did really. O'Neill's just been so good at the start and very consistent and I that is why he's so close to the championship lead. The other drivers have already dropped a lot of points.

Just finished watching the races now, pretty good ones. Always nice to see Plato having a bad weekend.
