Crash!!!

Looks like there's a bit of a curse forming on the last race of the day...

As always, some great close racing today at Croft.

But its a shame it had to end up that way - accidents at Barcroft are never pretty.

Just got back from the track. A fine day's racing! Some of the supports looked a little dull, but the BTCC delivered.

Those three races were a perfect example of why I love touring car racing, it's just unfortunate that Plato picked up a puncture in the last race. It was also nice to see quite a few first time winners across the weekend.

Unsurprisingly, after five events the championship leader's score is the lowest it's ever been under the triple-header weekend format:
2004 - 154
2005 - 179
2006 - 165
2007 - 150
2008 - 145
2009 - 149
2010 - 119

The highest possible score is 260.

I feel bad for being so curious, but does anyone have a video of the Ginetta crash that brought out the red flags in the very last race? I didn't see it on TV obviously, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've got a rough idea what happened but I would like to see it.

Think the coverage should be on the ITV website on the ITV player, have you tried looking there?

I'm pretty sure it's only got the BTCC races. I suppose I'm used to being spoiled with amazing caps left right and centre!

Yeah looks like you're right, another way iPlayer is so much better than ITV Player! The Ginetta race should turn up eventually on Motorsport UK if you're feeling patient, not sure if anyone here still caps the BTCC coverage...
