Wow , I missed the event and when I saw this 40 page thread I first thought some monumental crash or so must have happened. Instead it was great racing, some incidents and funny conversations.

Good grief, they didn't just suddenly move a tree there in 2004. And you can't see it in the 2003 shot because you've taken it from the entry to Riches, not the exit facing Sear (which is where the tree is).

Also, as shown by an older avatar of it, the tree has been a source of amusement for years, not just this year.

Any semblance of humour remaining with the tree has been killed off by this absurd history lesson. Trees take decades to grow, and this one was probably there when Snetterton first opened. There, done.

Same here. And I think it's quite funny that we never noticed it before. That was the reason why I decided to add some older pictures of it ... but sure you need a sense of humour to laugh with it
