Wow, was quite a violent little flip for such a short incident...he understeered off the track it seems, hit the tyre barrier which flipped him two or three times....

Thank goodness he's ok :)

LOL at the Team boss/Mr Jones...

"As a Team boss..."Jesus!", as a Dad..."JESUS!!!"

Is this live? Because another random safety car contained completely within an advert break.... :?

Most exciting V8 race in awhile, and from an enduro!

Good stuff.

All kinds of crazy battling throughout the field.

It never is.

4 laps left, Tander leads.

EDIT: Youre in the glorious shithole that is Adelaide, 30 minutes delayed. We have it close to live.

7HD may be live, but I can't get it.

There's not footy or crappy movies on before, so it is a disgrace (spelling is right) that we have to wait on SD and HS most of the time.

Tander deserves the win, Lowndes and Whincup can't win everything.

Haven't they (Lowndes and Whincup) won every endurance race since Bathurst 2005 until now??

Bathurst Sunday will be live for Adelaide viewers, the other days on 30 minute delay.

I think the race finished about 455pm at the track, and around 515pm for Melbourne viewers, so around 20 minutes behind. If it wasn't for the safety cars they'd have had to cut out a massive chunk. I left for work at 245pm, and in 105 minutes C7 had fallen 10 laps behind.

They did cut out a chunk of the race (for Sydney viewers), lap 93-99.....we left an an ad break under green conditions, came back with the safety car pulling in and we get a brief explanation saying Ingall had gone off, D'Alberto had crashed, now it's the sprint to the flag....

Basically they ran out of time to finish playing the race by 5:30.....

Maybe they should go 'old school' and play the thing live, so long as they give you an update when they return from the ad break if something happened....i find that much preferrable than missing chunks of the race (particularly when stuff happened in it)

They were not missing laps during the ad breaks, they were stopping the tape. It started live, but every ad break it became 5 or so delayed.

Yeah, I noticed that as well.

Also something which I found odd. When Jones crashed, the camera postion just before was showing a yellow flag, indicating that the incident had already occured. Why did 7 go to a replay of the crash straight away, instead of showing the aftermath live, then going to a replay? Or maybe that's just me.

Didn't get a chance to watch the race until today, but I have to say that was one of the best races this year. The rain was a nice twist and it was good to see Holden back on top. Looking forward to Bathurst for sure.
