I think the report on Ten-Tenths was shaken but otherwise unharmed. Walked to the medical vehicle. There was the suggestion that there could be further injury to the driver as it was his Dad's car.

 :p

That was massive impact, what a lucky man he was. Im actually surprised by the crowd only standing behind a fence not hesitating when the car was close to flipping over the wall or parts flying of the car...

So basically we had amazing racing and big incidents in all the supports bar the Supercars? :?

Do Motors even show any of the supports any more? :?

Bye Bye Oran Park, you'll be missed....

Skaife? Meh, I came into it when he was the Schumacher of V8 Supercars (2001/2002 was certainly overkill when it came to red cars winning everything, Ferrari, Holden, Vauxhall etc) so it was hard to warm to him, but a great career nonetheless...

To be fair the Group C/A races were barely what you'd have even called supports, the times they were given to go on track was pathetic, either at dawn before everyone would have got there, or a dusk after everyone had gone home...

From Ten-Tenths

So much for not showing anything after channel 9 just showed the accident.

This is about the Lucas Dumbrell crash, so the footage is now out there. Hopefully someone caught it. Given the time it was posted I'd guess it was on Ch9 in either Sydney or Melbourne, it wasn't on in Adelaide.

Thought the V8 races were great personally, lots of action and close fighting.

I didn't think Race 1 was all that great myself, but I thought both of Sunday's races were good, just like most of the races that have been held at Oran Park.

Some amateur footage was shown on Channel 9 News in Sydney or Melbourne on Monday night, but I haven't seen it surface anywhere on the net yet.
