I agree, Oran Park is one of my fav tracks, so it's crap by how they are dogging it.

The three races this weekend were some of the best this year of the sprint races.

Interesting that the championship is looking at doing 2 rounds at Bahrain next season along with a round in Singapore.

And although I am not a fan of that from the perspective of V8 supercars itself, I sure as hell am when it comes to the racing which we will be treated to.

I'd prefer if they did a back-to-back at Bahrain and then Qatar or Dubai or something rather than visiting BIC twice, but otherwise I don't mind OS races, they bring a stack of cash in, and we visit good facilities.

Bring Toyota in and do a Japanese course. Although if it were Toyota that course would be Fuji.

Or badged as Lexus, and they build a V8 to boot. It needs to happen.

You could do Toyota with a works team and Toyota with a Lexus team for the first year until they come to grips with most of what is needed. Then open up cars for the season after to teams that would like them.

Or just have the main Toyota comp. team be Lexus Racing Team or whatever they wish to call it.

But I don't think they should rebadge them all to Lexus.

If Toyota entered it would be based on the TRD Aurion. Like in the Aussie Racing Cars.

Singapore? Is that the night race track which F1 does?

They where also planning a permanent circuit in Singapore for MotoGP but I don't think that will be ready next year.

I was interested at those comments, as to whether '2 rounds here' said by Cochrane meant 2 rounds at Bahrain, or 2 rounds in the Middle East. 2 rounds in Bahrain would certainly be different as the rounds would likely be back-to-back, but at least they could use 2 different track layouts.
