Is there really still no better option than Skaife to have to listen to in the booth? It's like if Rusty Wallace had a 20 year broadcasting career that we were forced to endure.

Does feel like it was if F1 had Domenicalli in the commentary booth tbh

As usual Supercars are running support races to the F1 this weekend. There will be four sprint races, with one on each day starting tomorrow. Unfortunately the FOM has prevented Supercars from broadcasting the races through Superview again so people outside AUS/NZ won't be able to watch unless they've got a local broadcaster showing it or the DarcyF1 stream is working.

We also have a one-race reprieve from the Skaife/Crompton commentary.

Anton on pole, somehow SVG strung together a lap without wrecking and ended up 3rd.

Yeah because they use the Fox commentators, of which they're apart of. I thought they might use different ones as 10 is the FTA supplier of the F1 not 7. Damn it. Maybe 10 has different commentators?

Aaron Noonan is doing radio broadcasts of Supercars' races this year through SEN so you might be able to use that. It looks like they have an app of some sort.

Race 1 was an SVGwinslol, although Kostecki almost jumped him in the pits as Erebus found a loophole in the rules that they didn't have to change tyre compounds (which they're requiring for this weekend only in an attempt to spice up the short races) because the race was declared wet at the start due to a small shower.

Incidentally the pit stop was effectively pointless as the supersoft tyres held up well enough for most of the field to stay out until the last two or three laps. Some of the drivers have reported that following other cars is better then it was at Newcastle so that's nice.

Reynolds into the gravel at turn 1.

Brown jumped SVG at the start as did Brodie though SVG got him later in the lap.
