From BTCC's worst track to it's best!

Not sure if I'll get to watch this until Monday with being at my own racetrack and all the TOOMUCHRACING this weekend, but looking forward to it

I mean we should have at least one massive roll and two big crashes there. I know BTCC have crazy starts sometimes but it was too much

Looks like Brown bent the barrier, then White hit in exactly the same place and it acted as a ramp. Very unlucky.

Bad design not unlucky, these types of crashes did not happen until they started using pencil thin steel posts instead of thick arse wooden ones, in 35 years trackside I only ever saw a barrier fold over once and that was when a truck hit it, now it’s every second crash.

I wonder how long those posts have been there? They could very well be rotten as it's not a typical place to have a crash.

That barrier is relatively new, it’s only been there a few years because previously it was an earth bank. These modern FIA mandates barriers are shit.

Oh yeah I agree, just unlucky in the sense that had he hit anywhere else he probably wouldn't have gone over. But yes armco on modern circuits needs a serious looking at, it's only a matter of time before a car ends up in the crowd (again).
