At Knockhill as per usual. Anything happens of great note I shall post here. Rain is threatening but should be dry

Huge start line shunt in Porsches. Red flag. 4/5 drivers involved. All drivers ok.

Second Ginetta Supercup race is like World War 3. Only 10/11 cars finished out of 20 starters

Didn't even realise this was on. Another clash with F1. Thank you, BTCC organisers...

There's absolutely zero reason this meeting should've happened this weekend, what with all the motorsport on the planet being on and all the commenwealth games and European football final

There will be NOTHING to watch next week ffs

Anyway working through it now, BTCC race 1 was great for the first 10 laps or so then fizzled out
I think Plato hoofed someone off at the chicane on lap 1 then got karma a couple of laps later

Minis had a pile up at the start of their race too.

No Richard John Neil because he's ill, apparently, hope he's ok :/

Still have no idea why people prioritise F1. The BTCC calendar was published first anyway.

Race 1 was great. Proper touring car racing and exactly what I expect to see.

I like the upgrade Ginetta have made to the G56 since Oulton with big fat tyres on the rear. They look really mean now.

Race 2 is even better than race 1 tbh

I'm now through the ITV section of the racing, onto ITV4 tomorrow :p

I think the BTCC schedule is driven by ITV's commitments - Tour De France always takes out a few weeks then the rest of the motorsport world gets disregarded.

Race 2 was the best of the 3 I would say, Hill was quite kind to Sutton on the run to the chequered flag!

This is all they talked about during a boring race 2 where nothing happened, of course

Race 3 was probably the calmest of all the BTCC races that day, but did feature a half flip off the start which ITV didn't bother replaying

TBH they didn't bother replaying many of the bigger incidents that day, It was weird

Also with Addison being off at the Spa 24 Hours and Richard John Neill being ill, Jonny Palmer had to cover all the races, is that the first time on the ITV program one commentator has covered all the races on the programme?

When it started it was Ben Edwards and Tim Harvey on BTCC/Porsches and John Hindhaugh and Simon Hill on supports, then has rotated through quite a few commentary options through the years, but I can't remember one commentator having to do all 10 races without a break
