It's quite wet for the final. Unfortunately they've gone for a SC start. |

Broc went off the track and dropped a bunch of spots. Davison got spun by Mostert and both MSR cars went off behind him. Golding is going a second a lap quicker then anyone else. Jordan Boys also went off in the same lap. |

Waters slightly locked a brake and that was enough for Shane to get past and get away a bit. |

Bad luck for Reynolds, he made up 15 places and now he's pretty badly crunched the front end. |

Oof, Macauley Jones got a mechanical black flag for using a squeegee to clean his windscreen. That's a new one. |

SVG is going to make it 3 from 3. Boring result but it was an interesting race in the first half. |

The Adelaide 500 was launched today. It's been confirmed that Super2/3, S5000, GTWC Australia and TCM will be the support categories. Outside of the racing they've got a number of bands performing including the Killers. https://www.motorsport.com/v8supercars/news/full-2022-adelaide-500-details-unveiled/10347448/ |

Pricing isn't terrible either, 4 day grandstand passes range from $230 to $290 I believe. |

Tom Randle has been confirmed as Tickford's fourth driver for next year. Tickford has said they'll lend out Zak Best if there's interest. https://www.speedcafe.com/2022/08/11/randle-confirmed-at-tickford-for-2023-supercars-season/ Jaylyn Robotham (with Matt Chahda) and Cameron Hill (with Chris Pither) will be making their 1000 debuts this year. Jack Perkins will be running a livery celebrating the 40th anniversary of his dad's first win at Bathurst in the Sandown Super2/3 round next week. |

Brad Jones Racing to get the first Gen3 chassis built by PACE. https://www.supercars.com/news/champion ... confirmed/ - already posted in the Sprint Car thread but figured I'd cross-post here: Cam Waters confirmed to race at Northline in the Winged 410 Darwin/NT Title races this week (races streaming on the track's Facebook page) and during Chariots of Thunder https://www.speedcafe.com/2022/08/10/wa ... n-top-end/ |

https://www.supercars.com/news/championship/penrite-oil-sandown-supersprint-schedule-set/ Sandown is this weekend, it's only a sprint round and not the 500 unfortunately. Murphy/Stanaway's wildcard car has been unveiled. |
