Good drive from Davison. Surprising to see SVG be a bit off his usual pace, must be in championship conservation mode now.

The Historic Touring cars are pretty interesting this weekend. Greg Murphy battling for the win in a Sierra RS500 with a Nissan Primera Super Tourer. There's actually quite a large number of Super Tourers in the field, I didn't realise there were so many in NZ. There's a few other Group A cars as well as a couple of Group C touring cars and V8 Supercars and what looks like a ETCC Ford Capri.

It's quite strange that there are so many super tourers in NZ, especially since there was never a full-blown series for them in period. The historic scene in the UK has been hit quite hard because of this.

Qualifying for the final two races is done, SVG and Feeney got the front row for the first race and Davison got pole for the final with SVG only managing 8th.

De Pasquale got turned into the fence on lap 1, SC out. Davison jumped Feeney for 2nd.

And Brown also got turned into the wall in front of the pit entry.

Red flag out now because of Brown.

Christ that must have been a massive hit for Brown to what looks like the driver's side, the actual concrete wall got moved across on to the actual pit road. Hopefully he's ok, apparently there was no radio comms although he did get out.

Huge damage to the driver's side of Brown's car, luckily it looks like it was mostly to the rear.

Race is restarting.

Brown is relatively OK but apparently heavily winded.

They just showed the onboard of the Brown crash and interviewed him. Winterbottom ran him off the road and he basically slid into the end of the wall at near full speed.

The last ever Supercars race at Pukehohe is about to start. There's some pretty dark clouds in the background.

Courtney immediately into the wall at turn 1. Pretty hard hit into the driver's side but James is OK.

Think Hazelwood turned him but they were 4 wide.

Finally green again on lap 11. Clouds look like they're getting a bit worse.

Welp, they didn't tighten the rear left wheel correctly on Davison's car. That will cost him the win.
