For the 59th time, Mount Panorama hosts the Great Race - the Repco Bathurst 1000 on December 5. This year's race was originally scheduled for the traditional mid-October slot, however it was postponed due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic back a few months ago. ARG's Bathurst International (slated for December) was canceled out-right, thus creating a speedweek of racing. 25 cars are entered for this year's 1000km classic - those featuring the 24 full-time entries & 1 wild card entry from Triple Eight Race Engineering with Russell Ingall coming out of retirement alongside Broc Feeney. A second wildcard was planned by Erebus Motorsport with Greg Murphy & Richie Stanaway - however those plans were postponed due to the international travel restrictions between Australia & New Zealand. For the 5th time in the circuit's history, Bathurst will host the grand final for the Australian Touring Car Championship. Like this year, 2 of those featured the 1000 as the Grand Final back in 1999 & 2000 - while the first was the singular ATCC title race back in 1966. With the 1000 and ARG's Bathurst International essentially merging, 10 series in total will take on the mountain over the 6 days. Those series include: S5000, Super2/Super3, TCR Australia, Australian GT, Porsche Carrera Cup, Touring Car Masters, V8 SuperUtes, Trans-Am TA2 & Toyota 86's. Supercars is also expected to debut the brand new Gen3 spec cars to the public - there is several demonstration events earmarked throughout the week. SuperView / YouTube links for those outside of Australia & New Zealand. For those unaware about these streams, the subscription costs $5/month USD (cost varies by region) & is the raw feed produced by Supercars to FOX & 7 Wednesday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OWmv4wrVUk Thursday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBi9KRbB318 Friday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mofx2hquVo Saturday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dexaE3rZf0Q Sunday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgUfxXrtFSI it appears BathurstScan will not have any streams of the race control (or) teams channels this year on-track schedule converted to US-East Coast times: https://shorturl.at/eBI45 - 26 cars are entered for Carrera Cup GTWC Australia has released their entry list with 15 cars entered, link added to the main post RACE has officially taken control of Supercars from Archer Capital https://www.motorsport.com/v8supercars/ ... s/6822824/ |

Motortrend proving once again that was the best $45 I ever spent. Not sure if they'll have the supports but they'll have all the Supercars coverage. |

I hilariously speculated that the really date on the calendar might cause problems with extreme heat and high temperatures, yet it's going to rain every single day in the lead up to the main race. |

TCR has 18 cars entered for their three 21 lap races (the longest in their Australian history). Chaz Mostert is one of them, he will probably only be running the first race on Wednesday as that is fairly likely going to be enough for him to wrap up the championship. https://www.touringcartimes.com/2021/11/25/tcr-bathurst-400-set-18-car-entry/ S5000 has 11 for their first ever races at Bathurst. https://www.highwayf1.com/news/2021/11/27/entry-list-confirmed-for-s5000-tasman-series-at-bathurst |

Joe A was the one that set it up. Then for some reason like about 2 months ago, he closed it down without any warnings/notices at all. |
