Good to hear Jonny Palmer on supports. Would be nice to hear him on TV more often

there seemed to be more chaos and destruction in this round than the previous three combined. glad nobody got hurt. nice to see rowbow have some good finishes and be up in the points. the championship seems wide open, will be interesting to see if this trend continues or if the usual front runners like sutton and turkington get back on pace

So they didn't do anything about Plato taking out Oliphant and causing the R1 red flag then? Figures

Listening to Harvey defend his mate Plato during the red was disheartening "Tom wouldn't have realised Plato was alongside him (in reality, inside his rear wheels at best) and turned in on him, he'll be regretting that when he looks at the footage"
No mention of Plato not being anywhere near close enough to make the move, divebombing him and expecting him to get out of the way.
Yeesh.

At least Matt Neal could see the end of his career coming and retired from somewhat near the front of the field.
Plato is going to cause the same bullshit contact he always does, only because of his lack of performance he's taking out people without the budget to repair from his deliberate contact this time, because he seems mired in the mid teens positions no matter the racetrack
(and yes, his team mate out performing him again, time for a new chasis, Jason?)

He also managed to use the pile up in race 3 as an oppurtunity to boot someone else out of the way instead of just realise there was a big crash going on and try to get through without thinking about himself.
Certainly time he retired, but that was about 5 years ago tbf.

Crazy race meeting though. Not sure I liked ITV saying that the tragedy at Brands somehow caused a dangerous atmosphere 200 Miles up the road at Oulton Park causing all the crashes.
The immediately went all Tabloid newspaper on the emotions of the day and allowed Paul O Neil even more time to say even less than he usually does. Again and again they prove they must never be let near the F1 coverage again, all emotions and feelings and little of the way of facts and interest in the cars or racing.
