I think for once the idiot co-commentator has it right

They don't want the kids sliding around in wet conditions while marshals and tractors are on track

A good safety decision from race control, see, Massi, some series know how to do it.

It does give them an oppurtunity to have a bigger smash on the restart, of course. :lol:
