McLaughlin wins, seems he's back on form after a poor showing by his standards last weekend

SVG's bad season continues with a power steering failure putting him out while headed for a probable podium

Race 3 is turning out to be more interesting after a couple of pretty dull races with the Red Bulls/Waters/Mostert fighting through the field a bit. Was a bit of drama with SVG turning Waters after Cam backed off a little to avoid Percat pitting.

De Pasquale just crashed after a mechanical failure. McLaughlin now leads Hazelwood and Whincup on the SC but Scott has much older tyres then the others.

Welp Whincup just got by Todd (as did SVG and Mostert)

And SVG has a lot of pace, he has the newest tyres of anyone

Repco's signed on as series sponsor for the next 5 years

Nice to see an old-school brand sponsor a major series, relieved it's not the Chemist Warehouse Supercars Series or the Mother Energy Supercars Series

The first of two straight weekends at the Bend is tomorrow which is not very exciting. However, there is a 95% chance of rain for the Tailem Bend area tomorrow, so maybe there will be an actually interesting race at that tilkedrome of a circuit.

Whincup takes out Scott on lap 1 and gets a 15 sec penalty

Scott's still going at least.

They probably would have got through the corner OK but Jamie locked the rears up. Deserved penalty.

Looking like Le Brocq might get a win on legitimate pace.

McLaughlin gets Fullwood for 5th, if there's a collision he might end up on the podium here.
