Race 1: Safety car start. There is NEVER a valid reason for starting a race in this way. By doing so, you're basically sending cars around the track in conditions which have already deemed to be unsafe for racing. What's the point? Not to mention that there wasn't a hazard anyway, there was barely a hint of spray behind any of the cars. That stoppage in race 2 was bizarre. I've never heard of positions being decided at the end of a sector in road course racing before, that's something I thought only happened on ovals. They should have just gone for a complete restart. I went to watch race 3 about half an hour after the live stream finished on motorsport.tv, so you'd think it'd start at the beginning. Nope. It went straight to the closing montage, which was all about Michelisz... Good race though. |

That news put a smile on my face. Salzburgring is an excellent circuit. Good riddance to Marrakech. |

Cancelling Marrakech is no loss to anyone. That track is a debacle. |

You know, due to schedule clash, the WTCR was the championship I saw least of last year... I wish they'd get on with the replaying old races idea, they're about the only series that don't atm (Even the BTCC have, but they've been hiding it away on the ITV player for their own blinkered stupid reasons ) |
