East midland text summary on bbc weather says: "Bright or sunny spells. Showers also developing by the afternoon, and these could become heavy and thundery in places, and with some longer spells of rain also likely later."

So looks like if any of the touring car races get hit it'll most likely be the third 3rd race - like Rockingham!

I'll be there tomorrow for my 6th and final BTCC meeting of the year. :D Got access to the Silverstone Drivers Club clubhouse and Grandstand tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes.

If they're of the electrical nature, would the races have to be suspended for the safety of the marshals and crowd.

No. They raced at Rockingham while a thunderstorm was around.

They did at the Rock in 2003 as well. They just moved everyone out of the uncovered turn 1 and 4 grandstands into the main stand. Created a fantastic atmosphere. 8)

ITV's stream quality at the last race was so bad that it was unwatchable, so I watched it on the other stream.

Found the link now, it's justin.tv/bluesking40

Weather is currently dry, but it's very foggy - poor visibility.

I think rain is in the air.

No SEAT Cupras. And they've got two back-to-back Porsche races, should be able to go and do something more interesting for an hour and a half.

ITV's stream on their website isn't working at all for me, dunno about anyone else. The justin.tv stream is ok, though it's had a few moments where it's stopped working.

BTCC Race 1 after the break.

4 wide. :o Amazed that didn't cause carnage.

Proper rain too. Is Silverstone ever not foggy and dismal? I've been down a couple of times and it's always freezing and miserable, lol.
