Which on one hand, is terrible but on the other, if there was any threat to his life they'd have had him out of there quick smart.

ITV doing a good job of keeping us updated without being too sensational, suprisingly.

My guess is that they'll delay or postpone the Porsche race which should be going on now, and keep BTCC at its regularly scheduled time which is 30 minutes from now.

Don't they usually have a second chopper available just in case?

Thats what i was asking, i thought the BTCC had their own medical helpcopter (bought after Neil Shannan's crash) so you can surmise either they don't have it anymore, or the Air Ambulance has bought equipment/medical personnel to assist.

According to the guy on twitter he has now been removed from the car and loaded into the Air Ambulance.

I can't recall any extraction ever taking nearly 2 hours before.

I can but I've been around a long time.

Glad they're showing race 1 again as I tuned in too late to catch it live. Seriously, every racing series boss should just watch a few btcc races and start figuring out how to do what they've been doing the past 5 years.
