From a marketing standpoint it's genius as it'll always catch the viewer's eye when it's on screen with the usual packs of white and/or black/yellow cars.

Most of the cars are now in their livery when they raced the first time round. For example, there should be a BASTOS liveried BNW's and Nescafe Laguna's. I really think this should be a full time support series like there used to be.

Historic Touring cars were brilliant. Much better then having Boresches bore the shit out of everyone.

Now that really would be a surprise addition to the grid.

That's not the only old name that's been heard this off-season, either. Mark Howard, the 1993 Renault 5 champion, will be racing Clios this year.
