That was weird ..

Firstly why does the pit lane entry need a fence anyway?
Yeah the pit lane itself, but the entry lane?

Secondly the way it rolled off the barrier seemed surreal, like it was about to be lowered back onto ita wheels then flopped back onto its roof at the very last second.

Safety, safety everywhere.
Maybe to protect drivers who are coming into pits, but I don't know. Maybe it is all with that flying debris to not hit other car or be at road to pit lanes

Probably to stop cars actually ending up in the pit lane and blocking it. Maybe in the past they had difficulty getting a car out of that situation or something.
