A bit of a shock, but good luck to him anyway.

Going to be sad to see the livery go, certainly going to go down in V8 folklore as a legendary livery

This is why they are THE V8 Supercar team, even putting on a show for their outgoing sponsor after a successful partnership, their whole attitude in all respects is spot on imo. Looks great too, loving it with the red wheels.

And apparently they also tried to put Jenson Button in a 3rd car this weekend, but prior commitments meant that that never materialised.

SvG at his last V8SC round just ran into a medical car trying to limp around with a broken car.

Alex Premat collapsed in pitlane due to heat exhaustion and was taken to the medical centre. Hopefully he recovers for tomorrow.

That race was loltastic. Also noted that James Moffat is nothing like his father and that Michael Patrizi is still absolutely rubbish.

Scott McLaughlin just won the Dunlop Series title...and then immediately gets called up to replace Premat in the 33 car today.

Didn't see to be much of a crowd around this weekend, disappoting, hope next season will entice more to the track. Excited for next season!

I'm glad this season is over and done with. Only 5 different cars won a race, the fewest since 1991. Hopefully next year will be much more competitive!

There were some good races, but this season definitley lacked variety and for that reason I'm glad it's over.

Same comments apply for race 2. I liked the racing all round though. Just need a more open championship to make it more fun.

Didn't he also get in a fight with a sponsor that said he was rubbish? Fisticuffs and all that. Yes, that is the stuff of legends, lol.

I actually stayed up to watch this last night as there was nothing else on and last year I did the same and the race was amazing.

Wish I'd not bothered now.

Utes were good though:

Not really anything good about a first lap crash which never got restarted though.

Also Bernd Schneider was driving the 2nd SLS this weekend and was 2 sec a lap quicker than anyone else, 3 quicker than Hacket in the same car. He absolutely embarrassed the field. Wonder if Erebus as looking at him for their final seat, probably not given his age but I wouldn't be surprised to see a German in it.

I think that might have been the incident that Scotty was talking about. Absolute legend, I'll never forget him taking the mickey out of the XXXX Angels a few years ago.

And thank fuck this year's over, about as bad as HRT winning over half the races in a 5 year period. Bring on Nissan and Mercedes next year!

And this is just disgusting
