Bugger him, shove the nose in!! Car ahead of you? Bugger him, push him off the road and take his spot!!!! Very entertaining though. The drivers don't get away with all that contact, though and the third race was kind of OTT. btcc.net wrote: Brands Hatch:

Donington: Meanwhile, a number of drivers were punished today for on-track indiscretions: Race 1, Andy Neate, officially reprimanded and 2 penalty points on his competition licence; Race 2, Tom Chilton and Gordon Shedden, both officially reprimanded and 2 penalty points; Race 3, Dave Newsham, fined £500 and 3 penalty points & James Nash, 2 penalty points. |

Well, at least MacDowell didn't pick up any more points. He'd be in a spot of bother if he did. |

Asked my Mum's friend - who does part time work for WSR - who she wants to win the title. "No preferences, but not Matt Neal. Ignorant bastard" |

Absolutely. I got to admit I don't think Plato's got a hope in hell this year with a non-turbo power unit. Shedden should be a factor but he's spending too much time bulldozing drivers off the circuit and having karma dish out some bad luck. I'm not a fan of either of them, but both Nash and Jordan are seriously impressing me. Both are driving well, and pretty clean. They could be Neal's sternest opposition to the title this year. |

It would generally be amazing if James Nash won the title this year. |

RML would probably be better off using this season to update to NGTC. |

I generally cant think of any for a good number of years actually. Certainly going back to 1990 when Gravett won it. If we want to be picky, maybe Cleland in 89. And lol at the banner. I see the tree is now our unofficial symbol. |

I'm sure going back to the Multi Class era there was plenty of champions who didn't win a race due to the class system meaning you could finish as victor of class C or whatever and still be crowned champion. Anyway, with all the amateur view hunting of that big Brands crash, we kind of ignored the hunt for Plato-rolling views. Here's one, anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6d7HgWRj5A |

Theoretically both Cleland and Sytner won in 1989 and 1988 without winning a race outright, but they won class races which counted towards the overall championship. So they don't count. |

Meanwhile, in STCC's first race... 3 ex-BTCC champions on the grid, expected them to dominate? No really. Thompson 3rd, Rydell 5th, Turkington only 7th. Jason Watt won, after Richard Göransson crashed heavily with two laps to go and had to go to hospital for observations. |

That wasn't a good race. There were a couple of good moves here & there but I suppose that's the most you can expect from what looks like the Danish equivalent of Mondello Park. Oh, and technically there are 4 BTCC champions on the grid . |
