How can they still give Bright 3rd even though he cut more than half the lap after getting spun, and came out ahead of where he would have normally been.

Yeah, that was a bit weird. Was an enjoyable race on the whole though.

The race lengths are fine, there are plenty of other series around the world that have races of the same length or less which produce plenty of action.

the Ford Falcon FG and Holden Commodore VE, which is currently used in the Dunlop Series will be legal in the 3rd tier Kuhmo Tyres V8 Touring Car Series next year. This is expected as the Dunlop Series will switch to the CoTF chassis.

I've always found it odd that Australia seems to have fairly average permanent circuits in terms of facilities etc. but do some of the best street tracks in the world

Australia has always had average permanent circuits (or at least as long as I can remember.) Outside of Phillip Island and Sandown probably only Lakeside could be classified as a good track of the ones that are still active.
