The fact you've put a smiley after that comment just shows what a sorry state this series is in at the moment. A world championship that can't even muster a 20 car field, *sigh*.

so it's not ok to see it positive that the field is growing back to it's regular size? just a month ago they were down to 16 cars, now back to 18, probably 19 in portugal, and yet you still complain? *sigh*

I'm happy that entries are returning but there shouldn't be this few in the first place.

So race 1 in Russia has happened.

Coronel got spun and I was confused which of the two chequered flags is actually the finish line. ...
that's all that happened.

Race 2...NOW

Out of the races I've watched so far this weekend, WTCC has produced the best action. What planet is this :? .

Another entry, Mat'o Homola will race the third Campos car in Slovakia.

Great to see a slovakian on the WTCC grid.
I hope they didn't pay much for this. As far as I remember, Campos wanted 1M € from Homola for the full season seat.

i'd assume less than 100k and that eurosport events paid some money as well

the third cruze by campos is likely to be driven by an portuguese driver in vila real as well...

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the organisers had a hand in this. Francois Ribeiro has been quite vocal about the drivers that teams should be running recently.
